Here we will devote a rather unknown but very interesting detail on the history of the Nuremberg \u201eZeppelintrib\u00fcne\u201c (Zeppelin grandstand) on the former \u201eReichsparteitagsgel\u00e4nde\u201c (Party Rally Grounds) in Nuremberg:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Until the \u201eReichsparteitag 1939\u201c the erection of two gilded sculptures and sculptures by Arno Breker was planned in the colonnade of the \u201eZeppelintrib\u00fcne\u201c (in each outer front sides). <\/span>On the one hand the figure with the title \u201eprocurer\u201c, on the other the figure of \u201ereadiness\u201c. <\/span>Height of the two figures (from head to foot plate): approx. 3.89 m. <\/span>Height of the stone pedestal: approx. 1.5 m.
\n<\/span>On isolated contemporary black-and-white figures, the platforms are recognizable at the extreme ends of the respective column intersections.<\/span><\/p>\n

We own two pictures showing the statue \u201eK\u00fcnder\u201c (\u201eprocurer\u201c) (as a plaster figure?) In original size on the podium of the western face. <\/span>Our picture montages are based on the size of the statues on these pictures.

\nHere the motif of the \u201eprocurer\u201c with a column superimposition \u2013 and: a female comparison person (about 1.70 m high?). In addition: t<\/span>he original columns of 1939. The height of the respective Breker sculpture can be determined very well by both parameters. <\/span>Height of the figure: approx. 3.89 m. <\/span>Plus height of the base: approx. 1.5 m.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\nHere the motive with the \u201ereadiness\u201c. <\/span>As written: the figure looks to the left. <\/span>To the right lies the grandstand and the Zeppelin field itself. <\/span>The statue so turns away. In our opinion \u201edramatically not the best way\u201c.

Possibly, the figure of \u201ereadiness\u201c was not yet available in original size in the summer of 1939 \u2013 but that of the \u201eprocurer\u201c already.<\/span><\/p>\n
